How to set up your first Rollup
GRP was designed to take all the organisation off organisers shoulders, and allow a simple app to run events for them. It does what many of the big golf club systems do, but much more simply with small groups of players. And it also allows you to set up Golf Tours and run those competitively like a real tournament.
Quick Set Up
Create a Group
Create a Rollup Group. Press the Create a Group button, choose Rollup and fill in the fields. It will need some sort of a description and any rules you have in place.
Choose a Club
We have nearly every European course in our database. Let us know if any are missing or if you need a course adding. Type in some letters and your club should appear
Invite your Players
Copy and paste emails into the box (integration with your Contacts is coming) or simply type them. Hit return and invite members. They will receive instructions from to sign up.
Create an Event
Choose a Course. When do you want people to start booking, when do you need to shut booking off? Which tees? How do want to reward your winners?
Book in yourself!
Organisers do not always play, so book yourself in. Go to Home and the Player tab. Find the event and book yourself in. Press Bookings to a see of those signed up
1 | Step One - Create your rollup group
Create the type of group you want with the players you want. Then create your events for them to register to. Quickly send a reminder the day before so they don't forget.
2 | Step Two - turn up on the day
No more worries. Turn up on the day and concentrate on your own game. May be you'll be the winner this week?
3 | Step Three - read out the results
Players can enter their scores as they play or at the end of the round. The system then shares a leaderboard and you read out the results. Close the event and it automatically updates Orders of Merit and Eclectics
